RigWise is an independent PC build planning companion for iPhone. We built it for anyone who wants a calm place to explore parts, sketch a custom rig, and understand estimated costs — without accounts, checkout flows, or noise.
Inside the app you browse a curated parts catalog, heart favorites, fill four build slots, compare preset configurations, and generate budget-balanced suggestions. Your profile, favorites, and build stay on your device.
RigWise is an offline planning tool and does not provide payments, money transfer, credit, investment, or other financial services. RigWise is not affiliated with any hardware manufacturer, retailer, or component brand. Product names and specifications are for reference only.
Privacy policy
Your build data stays on your device.
This Privacy Policy describes how RigWise (the “Application”) handles information when you use our PC build planning app. The Application is provided by Joe Kiah Clements (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
Information We Collect
RigWise does not require an account, sign-up, or login. We do not ask for your email, phone number, or precise location inside the app. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers in the planning experience.
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
- Display name and optional tagline you enter in Profile
- Favorite parts and My build slot selections (CPU, GPU, RAM, monitor)
- Onboarding and app preference state
- Budget planner inputs and last generated suggestions (session-local)
Catalog & Offline Use
Component listings, prices, quality scores, and predefined builds ship inside the app as bundled data. Browsing the catalog and using the build planner does not require an internet connection and does not send your watchlists or build choices to our servers.
How We Use Information
Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to profile, share, or sell. All planning features — catalog, favorites, build slots, comparisons, and budget generation — operate using data stored on your device.
Data Storage & Retention
Your content remains in the app’s private storage on your device. There is no cloud sync and no remote backup operated by us for planning data. Deleting the app permanently removes associated local data from your device.
Live Activity
If you add at least one part to My build, RigWise may offer an optional Live Activity on supported iPhone models. Live Activity uses Apple’s system frameworks on your device. We do not receive the content shown on your Lock Screen or Dynamic Island on our servers.
Children’s Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because planning data is not transmitted to us, the app is suitable for general audiences under COPPA and similar standards.
Your Control
You can edit or delete your local data at any time through the app — remove favorites, clear build slots, update your profile, or uninstall the Application to remove all stored content from your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect app improvements or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. The core commitment — local storage for planning data, no accounts, no sale of personal data — will not change without clear notice.
